Samson is truly one of the sweetest boys you will ever meet! He was dumped in a canal in Central California with horrific infections in both eyes. A kind samaritan passing by heard him and heroically fished him out. We thought he would die from his infections, not to mention all the trauma, but still made the choice to try and save him. Samson had both eyes removed in an emergency surgery that night and after some love, care, and a bit of medicine, he is now healthy and oh-so-happy! Samson is a 5-6 year old Akita mix who loves all dogs, humans, and even cats, and especially enjoys cuddling, napping in the sun, and going on long rambling sniff-adventures with our volunteers.
