Basil is an 8 month old Pug/Chihuahua mix.  She is initially slow to warm up to new acquaintances but once she’s comfortable with you she will be your absolute best friend. She is a super sweet girl and gorgeous dog (look at her smile!) who just needs someone willing to show her consistency. She is currently 10 pounds of small, but mighty love!

"Basil is a very loyal and loving dog. She loves to be by your side, and will cuddle up with you to sleep through the night. She is happiest together with her person. She enjoys tagging along for outings, she is very interested in meeting other dogs, and she adores exploring a park or running on the beach. When she's home alone, she stays quietly in her crate. She does not bark much. In the past month, she built relationships with everyone in her foster family. She is slow to warm up with visitors and will guard her favorite lap!
