The lovely Dukesa has a smile on her face because she is so happy that we rescued her from the streets of Tijuana. She is a 3-5 year old German Shephard mix and 55lbs of pure love. She first came to us as a super shy girl.  But, Nessa, as those who love her call her, lucked out when an amazing dog trainer offered to foster her. Nessa has come out of her shell and let her true colors shine! She gets along great with other dogs and now runs up to strangers asking for affection when out on adventures. She loves the dog beach and dog parks, and she has mastered commands. While she is still a little reserved about meeting new people, once she warms up to you she is as sweet as can be! She loves to be outside and she would be an easy dog to care for and fall in love with.  Nessa would be a great second dog as well.  We think a family with older kids would be great for her as well.  We are so excited for Nessa to have a new start at life and we hope it is with you!
